You’ll be joining a reliable property services contractor delivering planned kitchen refurbishments across local housing stock.

This role would suit a Gas Engineer who is confident working to programme deadlines, completing compliant work, and supporting wider refurbishment teams on site.

As a Gas Engineer, you will be:

  • Isolating gas supplies safely during kitchen rip-outs
  • Completing first fix plumbing work linked to kitchen refurbishments
  • Identifying and locating pipework and services for sinks and appliances
  • Carrying out second fix gas works, including appliance reconnection or installation where required
  • Completing Gas Safe checks after rip-out and again at completion
  • Removing existing radiators as required
  • Refitting and installing new radiators across the planned programme
  • Working safely and compliantly across occupied and void domestic properties

I’d love to speak to anyone who has:

  • Gas Safe registration
  • Relevant domestic ACS qualifications
  • Experience with gas isolations, testing, and first/second fix works
  • Strong wet plumbing experience, including radiator removal and refitting
  • Experience working in domestic housing, social housing, or planned refurbishment works
  • The ability to work to programme deadlines across multiple properties

The role is offering the following benefits:

  • Weekly pay £24-26 pounds per hour
  • Consistent contract work
  • Local work across Newark and Sherwood
  • Ongoing kitchen refurbishment programme

This role is offering pay in the region of £16 to £19 per hour, depending on experience and expectations.

Location & travel: This Gas Engineer role is based across Newark and Sherwood, supporting a local housing contract with works carried out across domestic properties. You’ll be working as part of a planned kitchen refurbishment programme, moving between properties as required to complete gas and plumbing tasks at key stages of the works.
