We are currently looking for a Plumber Multi-Trade Operative in the Sheffield area to work on a self-employed, long-term contract for a well-established housing contractor, working on their voids and refurbishment team. This opportunity is with a respected and established building contractor within the housing sector. You'll be joining a company that values high-quality workmanship and offers consistent, long-term work within a supportive and professional environment.
I'd be keen to hear from anyone with experience in property maintenance and refurbishment, particularly those who have worked as a Plumber, Plumber Multi-Trade, Bathroom Fitter, Multi-Skilled Operative, or in a similar role.
As a Plumber Multi-Trade Operative, you will be:
- Carrying out all aspects of domestic plumbing maintenance and repairs within void and tenanted properties
- Completing bathroom refurbishment works, including first and second-fix plumbing
- Diagnosing and rectifying leaks, blockages, and general plumbing faults
- Carrying out pipework repairs and installations, including copper and plastic systems
- Undertaking basic tiling, patch plastering, and making good following plumbing works
- Completing minor carpentry and general multi-trade repairs where required
Requirements:
- Proven experience in domestic plumbing and property maintenance
- Experience working within social housing, void properties, or refurbishment projects
- A strong multi-trade background with the ability to complete associated repair works
- Relevant plumbing qualifications (desirable but not essential with proven experience)
