Niyaa People are delighted to be working alongside a Tier 1 contractor, to source a Commercial Project Surveyor on a permanent basis in the West Midlands. You will be part of a new team managing a Repairs & Maintenance contract for one of their housing clients. If you have experience within repairs and maintenance, working for a tier 1 contractor and managing social housing clients, I want to speak with you.
Commercial Project Surveyor duties:
- Lead on pre and post contract strategy, ensuring commercial processes run smoothly and deliver maximum value
- Managing subcontract procurement, measurement, valuation and contractual processes
- Supporting strong Health & Safety standards through regular reviews and compliance checks
- Leading valuations, cashflow management and monthly reporting (CVRs, procurement & progress updates)
- Working closely with project teams to optimise procurement, production, and commercial outcomes
- Supporting and developing commercial team capability and performance
Commercial Project Surveyor requirements:
- Knowledge of construction methods, measurement & valuation
- Experience with subcontract procurement and NEC contracts (preferred)
- Strong commercial and financial skills, with the ability to drive cost control and value recovery
- Confidence building relationships across clients, PQS, design teams and supply chain
