As a Gas Engineer, you'll help keep residents' homes safe, warm and well maintained while earning £40,937.14 per year. This opportunity is with a respected social housing provider operating across south-east Wales. As a Gas Engineer, you'll work across both occupied and void domestic properties throughout south-east Wales. I'd be keen to see applications from anyone who has worked as a Gas Engineer, Heating Engineer, Domestic Gas Engineer or similar within property repairs and maintenance.
As a Gas Engineer, you will be:
- Carrying out reactive heating and plumbing repairs
- Servicing domestic boilers and fires
- Diagnosing faults and providing practical technical solutions
- Completing gas inspections, testing and associated works
- Recording completed works accurately using electronic systems
- Working across occupied and void domestic properties
- Supporting wider compliance and maintenance teams
- Participating in the out-of-hours call-out service when required
I'd love to speak to anyone who has:
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3, or equivalent, in their primary trade
- A minimum of three years relevant experience
- CCN1 Core Gas Safety
- CENWAT1 Boilers and Water Heaters
- CKR1 Cookers
- HTR1 Fires
- CPA1 Combustion Analysis
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work independently with limited supervision
- A full UK driving licence
