We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Neighbourhood Services Manager to join a large and high-performing housing organisation on an initial 3‑month contract, with the potential for extension. This is a senior operational leadership role responsible for overseeing a large‑scale housing management service covering approximately 16,000 properties. The successful candidate will play a key role in stabilising services, driving performance, and ensuring excellent neighbourhood and tenancy management outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a high‑demand neighbourhood housing management service.
  • Drive service improvement, operational performance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide leadership across neighbourhood management and anti‑social behaviour (ASB) services.
  • Ensure effective tenancy management and neighbourhood standards are maintained.
  • Monitor team performance, service delivery targets, and operational outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high‑quality housing services.

Team Management

  • 5 Neighbourhood Team Leaders
  • 31.5 FTE Neighbourhood Officers
  • 5 Safer Neighbourhood Officers
  • 4 Neighbourhood Assistants

Candidate Requirements

  • Extensive experience within housing management.
  • Proven success leading large operational housing teams.
  • Strong expertise in neighbourhood management and ASB casework.
  • Excellent leadership, people management, and performance management skills.
  • The ability to quickly assess, stabilise, and improve services in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Essential Criteria

  • Must live within a commutable distance of Coventry.
  • Able to attend the office 2–3 days per week.
  • Available to start at short notice or immediately preferred.
