We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Operative to join a busy facilities team in Coventry. You’ll be carrying out a mix of maintenance, repairs, and servicing of specialist equipment used to support individuals in their homes and community settings.

What the Maintenance Operative Will be doing:

  • General maintenance and repair work across equipment and facilities
  • Servicing and maintaining mobility and disability aids (training provided)
  • Fault finding and carrying out repairs
  • Making sure all work is completed safely and to standard
  • Logging jobs and reporting any issues
  • Assisting with installations, removals, and refurb work
  • Providing a reliable, no-nonsense service

What We’re Looking For as a Maintenance Operative:

  • Experience in handyman / maintenance / facilities roles
  • Practical skillset (mechanical, basic electrical or plumbing knowledge ideal)
  • Able to work independently and use initiative
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Good attitude — someone who just gets on with it
  • Someone willing to take an Enhanced DBS check
