We are currently recruiting for a temporary Housing Officer to support housing and community services across the Liverpool area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced housing professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality neighbourhood management services and building strong community relationships.
Key Responsibilities of a Housing Officer:
- Carrying out estate inspections and property visits
- Ensuring communities are safe, clean, and well maintained
- Handling safeguarding concerns and supporting vulnerable tenants
- Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring compliance with housing policies
Requirements of a Housing Officer:
- Previous experience within a Housing Officer or Tenancy Management role
- Strong knowledge of housing and tenancy management practices
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Flexible approach to travel and hybrid working
Contract initially until end of September, with potential for extension. Opportunity to work within a supportive housing team. Varied and rewarding community-focused role. Competitive temporary hourly/day rate depending on experience. This role will require a basic DBS check and for the successful candidate to have a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
