We are currently recruiting for an experienced DFG Surveyor to join a social housing organisation in Leicester on an initial 6-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a DFG Surveyor to manage a varied portfolio of Disabled Facilities Grant adaptations, helping residents remain safe and independent in their homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake surveys and technical assessments for adaptation works.
  • Prepare specifications, schedules of work, drawings, and cost estimates.
  • Manage DFG-funded projects from initial referral through to completion.
  • Oversee contractors and carry out site inspections.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Liaise with occupational therapists, residents, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations, health and safety requirements, and relevant legislation.
  • Certify completed works and maintain accurate project records.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred.
