Housing Support Officer (Temporary Contract) Salary: £17 – £18 per hour (via umbrella) Contract Duration: Approximately 6-8 weeks, starting 25th November Location: Crosby Job Overview: We are currently seeking a Housing Support Officer to join our client’s team on a temporary basis. As a Housing Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the wellbeing and independence of residents within a retirement housing scheme in the morning and assisting people facing homelessness in the afternoon. This role will involve a mixture of office-based work, phone, and email communication. Key Responsibilities: Morning: Conduct daily calls to residents within the retirement housing scheme, ensuring their wellbeing, offering any needed assistance, and completing any Scheme Manager duties. Afternoon: Provide support for customers in the community who are facing homelessness. This will involve handling complex cases via phone or email, assisting with housing benefits, welfare checks, and ensuring that clients are receiving appropriate support. As a Housing Support Officer , you will be responsible for recording details of each contact, updating our systems accurately, and escalating any concerns, repair needs, or other issues. The role is primarily office-based, with the position located in Crosby. There will be no client visits required.
