Job Description
Take on an ongoing contract role with consistent Monday to Friday work and mileage payments as a Gas Engineer , carrying out domestic gas works across social housing properties in Wolverhampton and Staffordshire.
Youll be working across bathroom, wetroom and kitchen programmes, with jobs allocated as close to home as possible. This is an ongoing opportunity offering a steady workload and working hours of 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.

As a Gas Engineer, you will be: Moving, capping and uncapping gas suppliesMoving radiators as part of bathroom, wetroom and kitchen worksServicing and relocating boilers where requiredCompleting a range of domestic gas works within social housing propertiesWorking safely within occupied and void propertiesId love to speak to anyone who has: Full domestic ACS qualifications cookers and fires are preferred but not essentialA valid Blue or Gold skills card, or relevant JIB equivalentTheir own vanStrong domestic gas experience rather than plumbing-only experiencePrevious social housing experience preferred, although other suitable domestic backgrounds will be consideredThe Gas Engineer role is offering: Around £250 per day40p per mile after the first 20 milesOngoing, consistent workMonday to Friday, 8:00am 4:30pmWork allocated as close to home as possibleOne-stage interview processLocation & travelThis Gas Engineer position covers Wolverhampton and the surrounding Staffordshire area. Jobs will be allocated with the aim of keeping travel as local to home as possible.
Interviews are held on Thursdays in Wolverhampton, with Teams interviews available for candidates based further afield. Successful candidates will need to complete the required subcontractor and compliance documentation before starting, with support available for outstanding training requirements.
