We have a new permanent role with a growing electrical compliance contractor as an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor (EQS) on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you'll split your time between the office and site, ensuring electrical works across social housing are delivered safely, compliantly, and to a high standard. You'll be joining a fast-growing contractor in the social housing sector, known for its trust-based culture, flexibility, and support for upskilling. This is a great opportunity to step into a role with autonomy, variety, and real influence on operational quality.
Suitable applicants will have worked as either an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor, Supervisor, NICEIC QS, or Compliance Supervisor within social housing or a similar environment.
As an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor (EQS), you will be:
- Supervising electricians across social housing projects (high volume of rewires)
- Splitting time between the Leicester office and site visits
- Carrying out site audits and desktop compliance checks
- Verifying test results, spot-checking works, and ensuring certification accuracy
- Checking calibration and accuracy of testing equipment
- Supporting engineers with technical guidance and problem solving
- Ensuring all works meet health & safety and compliance standards
- Liaising with tenants where needed and keeping projects running smoothly
