As a Floor Layer, you'll specialise in fitting vinyl tiles and delivering high-quality flooring installations as part of kitchen and bathroom refurbishment projects. You'll be joining an established contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality domestic refurbishment work. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Floor Layer looking for a steady pipeline of projects across Birmingham.
As a Floor Layer, you will be:
- Installing vinyl tiles and vinyl flooring to a high standard
- Preparing and levelling subfloors before installation
- Measuring, cutting and fitting flooring accurately
- Completing flooring works within kitchen and bathroom refurbishments
- Carrying out repairs and replacements to existing flooring
- Ensuring all work is completed to a clean and high-quality finish
I'd love to speak to anyone who has:
- Previous experience fitting vinyl tiles and vinyl flooring
- Strong floor preparation and subfloor levelling experience
- Experience working within domestic properties
- A Blue CSCS Skilled Worker card
- A full UK driving licence
- The ability to complete work independently to a high standard
