As a Gas Engineer, youll help keep residents homes safe, warm and well maintained while earning £40,937.14 per year. This opportunity is with a respected social housing provider operating across south-east Wales. Youll join a supportive maintenance team that values high-quality workmanship, excellent customer service and opportunities for professional development. As a Gas Engineer, youll work across both occupied and void domestic properties throughout south-east Wales. Id be keen to see applications from anyone who has worked as a Gas Engineer, Heating Engineer, Domestic Gas Engineer or similar within property repairs and maintenance. As a Gas Engineer, you will be: Carrying out reactive heating and plumbing repairs Servicing domestic boilers and fires Diagnosing faults and providing practical technical solutions Completing gas inspections, testing and associated works Recording completed works accurately using electronic systems Working across occupied and void domestic properties Supporting wider compliance and maintenance teams Participating in the out-of-hours call-out service when required Id love to speak to anyone who has: NVQ Level 2 or Level 3, or equivalent, in their primary trade A minimum of three years relevant experience CCN1 Core Gas Safety CENWAT1 Boilers and Water Heaters CKR1 Cookers HTR1 Fires CPA1 Combustion Analysis Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills The ability to work independently with limited supervision A full UK driving licence This Gas Engineer role is offering the following benefits: Permanent employment Salary of £40,937.14 per year Employer pension contributions of up to 12% 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays, increasing gradually to 30 days after three years service £625 flexible benefits allowance, with options including private medical insurance, health cash plans and professional memberships Health and wellbeing initiatives Opportunities to develop your skills and progress your career Location
