This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business with a consistent pipeline of work and structured training. Whether you're already experienced within solar or looking to move into the renewable energy sector, you'll be supported with the training and processes needed to succeed. Working Monday to Friday alongside a dedicated installation teammate, you'll complete high-quality domestic installations across a range of locations.
As a Domestic Solar PV Electrician, you will be:
- Working on domestic solar PV installations across England
- Collecting tools and materials from the local yard each morning before travelling to site
- Completing the electrical installation of solar PV systems in line with current wiring regulations
- Working alongside a roofer as part of a two-person installation team
- Completing one installation per day, with occasional remedial work across multiple properties
- Maintaining high standards of safety, workmanship and customer service
- Staying away from home when required, with accommodation and meals fully covered
I’d love to speak to anyone who has:
- AM2 qualification
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- A full UK driving licence
- Solar PV installation experience (preferred but not essential)
- A willingness to complete solar training if moving into the sector
- The ability to work across different locations and as part of a close-knit installation team

Location & travel: This Domestic Solar PV Electrician role is based across England, with work allocated across a range of domestic projects. Most days involve collecting materials from the local yard before travelling to site, with projects typically within reasonable travelling distance. Occasionally, longer-term schemes may require overnight stays, with all accommodation and meals paid for by the business.
