This temporary position offers the opportunity to work directly with residents, helping to ensure they are kept informed, supported and engaged throughout the process.

You'll be acting as a key point of contact for residents, arranging access, following up on no-access properties, responding to enquiries and resolving issues professionally and sensitively.

The role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, building positive relationships and making sure residents receive a high level of customer service throughout the works.

As a Customer Liaison Officer, you will play an important role in engaging with residents, coordinating access and ensuring customers are kept informed throughout the works.

As a Customer Liaison Officer, you will be:
Proactively following up on no-access properties to arrange retrofit survey appointments.

Leading resident and community engagement initiatives and building strong relationships with local communities.

Delivering clear and effective communications to customers and residents regarding the nature and scope of works.

Acting as the main point of contact for residents, responding to enquiries and concerns professionally and empathetically.

Coordinating access arrangements to ensure works are delivered smoothly and on schedule.

Resolving access-related and resident issues promptly, escalating where necessary to ensure timely solutions.

Maintaining accurate records of communications, access arrangements and issue resolutions for project documentation.

Experience dealing with customers and residents in potentially sensitive situations.

Strong communication, resilience and negotiation skills.

Good proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple resident enquiries and appointments.

Previous experience within housing, property, construction, retrofit or resident liaison environments would be advantageous.

Previous Customer Liaison Officer (CLO) experience is desirable but not essential.

Key requirements for this Customer Liaison Officer role :
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Willingness to travel extensively across Stoke and Chester.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Ability to deal with sensitive situations professionally and effectively.

Availability to start as soon as possible.

Commitment to a minimum of 8 weeks.
