This Youth Mentor position offers the chance to support young people aged 16-25 in supported accommodation across Dudley, helping them build independence, sustain their tenancy, and work towards moving into their own home.
You will be delivering one-to-one support, acting as a key worker and helping young people create support plans focused on education, employment, budgeting, wellbeing, life skills and tenancy responsibilities. This is a rewarding role for someone who values person-centred support, safeguarding, positive engagement and helping young people live confidently and independently.
We would love to hear from anyone with a background as a Youth Mentor, Youth Worker, Support Worker, Housing Support Officer, or experience in supported housing, safeguarding, social care, education, employment support or working with vulnerable young people in a similar setting, especially if you are passionate about helping young people progress and live independently.
