This role is ideal for someone committed to helping individuals and families secure stable housing solutions and preventing homelessness. Role Overview: As a Housing Options Advisor, you will deliver customer-focused services, offering essential advice and support to prevent homelessness and help individuals find temporary accommodation. You will engage with residents, work closely with housing providers, and maintain detailed records to ensure smooth service delivery. Key Responsibilities: Serve as a Housing Options Advisor, proactively providing advice to prevent homelessness and managing the Homeless Prevention Fund. Facilitate temporary housing solutions for those in need, handling administrative tasks and supporting housing benefit applications. Work as a Housing Options Advisor with a focus on customer care, addressing sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism. Connect with residents who require assistance with the housing process, helping them access alternative accommodations or guiding them through available support services. Participate in agency and partnership meetings, ensuring our client’s services reach those who need them most.
