We are currently looking for a Plumber Multi Trade to work within social housing properties around Swadlincote for a well-established contractor. This is a great opportunity to join an established maintenance team responsible for carrying out repairs, maintenance and wetroom installations across social housing properties. We’re looking for an experienced Plumber Multi Trade who is seeking a long-term opportunity.

I’d be keen to speak to anyone with experience working within social housing, property maintenance, refurbishment or similar environments, whether you’ve previously worked as a Plumber Multi Trade, Multi Trade Operative, Maintenance Operative, Repairs Operative or in a similar role.

As a Plumber Multi Trade, you will be:

  • Carrying out plumbing repairs and maintenance across social housing properties
  • Completing wetroom fitting and installation works
  • Undertaking general multi-trade maintenance and refurbishment works
  • Completing additional trades where skilled, including patch plastering, tiling and decorating
  • Diagnosing faults and completing repairs to a high standard with a right-first-time approach
  • Carrying out repairs and maintenance within occupied properties
  • Working professionally with tenants, residents and other contractors
  • Managing your own workload and completing jobs efficiently throughout the day
  • Ensuring all works are completed safely and within required timescales
  • Completing accurate paperwork and following company health and safety procedures

  • Proven experience within social housing, property maintenance, refurbishment or a similar environment
  • Strong plumbing skills and a broad multi-trade background
  • Experience carrying out wetroom fitting

  • A professional, reliable and customer-focused approach
  • Experience working in occupied properties
  • Their own van
  • A valid Blue CSCS Card
  • The relevant experience and skills to carry out the role
