We are recruiting 2 Interim Damp and Mould Surveyors for a leading Social Housing provider based in Staffordshire, supporting property services across the local region on a 3-month contract.
As an Interim Damp and Mould Surveyor, you will be responsible for delivering a range of surveying services across housing stock, ensuring properties are maintained to a high standard, compliant with regulations, and fit for purpose. Contract: 3-month interim assignment (potential for extension)
Full-time: 37-40 hours per week
Our client is a well-established Social Housing group managing a large portfolio of residential properties across Staffordshire and the surrounding areas. They are committed to providing safe, high-quality homes and delivering excellent services to their tenants and communities.
- Conducting property inspections, including damp and mould surveys
- Frontline operational role supporting contract delivery and contractor performance
- Managing projects within occupied properties, ensuring minimal disruption to residents
- Liaising with tenants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure effective communication
- Monitoring budgets and ensuring cost-effective delivery of works
The successful Interim Damp and Mould Surveyor will have:
- Proven experience in a similar Building Surveyor role, ideally within Social Housing
- A recognised construction-related qualification (e.g. HNC, HND, Degree in Building Surveying or similar)
- Experience managing contractors and overseeing works on site
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
