We are currently seeking an experienced Painter & Decorator to work on a Kitchen and Bathroom refurbishment programme across Portsmouth and surrounding areas. The role will mainly involve prepping and painting doors, frames, skirting boards and associated woodwork within residential properties. There will also be occasional work within care home environments, therefore a valid DBS certificate is essential.

Duties:

  • Preparation of surfaces including sanding, filling and caulking
  • Painting doors, door frames and skirting boards
  • Gloss and satin woodwork finishes
  • Ensuring a high-quality finish on all work completed
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Working professionally within occupied properties and care homes

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator
  • Valid DBS Check (Essential)
  • Own brushes, rollers and hand tools
  • Full PPE
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
  • Own transport preferred

What We Offer:

  • £160 per day
  • Ongoing work Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm
