We are currently looking for a Painter & Decorator to work on insurance reinstatement projects covering Peterborough and the surrounding areas for a well-established property repairs contractor. This opportunity is with an established contractor delivering high-volume reactive repair and reinstatement works on behalf of leading insurers. We're looking for an experienced Painter & Decorator who is available to start as soon as possible on an ongoing subcontract basis.
As a Painter & Decorator, you will be:
- Carrying out painting and decorating works within occupied and void residential properties following insurance reinstatement works
- Preparing surfaces by filling, sanding, stripping wallpaper and repairing minor defects before decoration
- Applying emulsion, gloss, satinwood, primers, stains and other specialist coatings to walls, ceilings, woodwork and exterior surfaces where required
- Completing redecoration following fire, flood and escape of water damage
- Travelling between customer properties across Peterborough and the surrounding area
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard while providing excellent customer service
- Submitting accurate weekly electronic timesheets for approval

This Painter & Decorator role is offering the following benefits:
