Job Description

We are looking for a Passive Fire Surveyor in the Nottingham are to join a growing client in the social housing sector.
You Will Receive:

As a Passive Fire Surveyor, you will be:

  • Ensure all property maintenance is installed and carried out in line with correct legislation.
  • Identify any required remedial works, report them, and ensure quotes are generated.
  • Provide confident fire safety advice related to the property.
  • Reassure clients that the developed design:
  • Achieves the expected FCS standard of fire safety.
  • Aligns with the client's objectives.
  • Complies with all relevant legal fire safety requirements.

Passive Fire Surveyor experience we are looking for:

  • Experience in passive fire surveying and fire safety fields.
  • Ability to carry out precise site inspections on existing buildings and construction sites.
  • Conducting surveys, audits, and inspections of passive fire protection (e.g., fire stopping, cavity barriers).
  • Ensuring installations comply with certified details
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Preparing reports using company systems when required
  • Desirable qualifications/training (e.g., ASFP, NVQ, fire compartmentation)
