As a Floor Layer, you’ll specialise in fitting vinyl tiles and delivering high-quality flooring installations as part of kitchen and bathroom refurbishment projects. You’ll be joining an established contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality domestic refurbishment work. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Floor Layer looking for a steady pipeline of projects across Birmingham. I’d be keen to see applications from anyone who has worked as a Vinyl Floor Layer, Flooring Installer, Vinyl Installer or Flooring Operative. As a Floor Layer, you will be: Installing vinyl tiles and vinyl flooring to a high standard Preparing and levelling subfloors before installation Measuring, cutting and fitting flooring accurately Completing flooring works within kitchen and bathroom refurbishments Carrying out repairs and replacements to existing flooring Ensuring all work is completed to a clean and high-quality finishI’d love to speak to anyone who has: Previous experience fitting vinyl tiles and vinyl flooring Strong floor preparation and subfloor levelling experience Experience working within domestic properties A Blue CSCS Skilled Worker card A full UK driving licence The ability to complete work independently to a high standardThis Floor Layer role is offering the following benefits: £200–£250 per day, depending on experience Long-term, consistent work Regular kitchen and bathroom refurbishment projects Work across BirminghamThis Floor Layer role is offering a day rate of £200–£250 per day, depending on experience.
