We are currently recruiting for a temporary Housing Officer to support housing and community services across the Greater Manchester area.

Contract: Temporary assignment. Until end of August, with potential for extension. Flexible hybrid working available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a designated neighbourhood patch
  • Delivering effective tenancy and estate management services
  • Responding to anti‑social behaviour and tenancy breaches
  • Carrying out estate inspections and property visits
  • Supporting residents with tenancy‑related queries and issues
  • Working collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies
  • Ensuring communities are safe, clean, and well maintained
  • Handling safeguarding concerns and supporting vulnerable tenants
  • Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring compliance with housing policies

Requirements

  • Previous experience within a Housing Officer or Tenancy Management role
  • Strong knowledge of housing and tenancy management practices
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload independently
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Flexible approach to travel and hybrid working
