You will be working for a successful residential developer delivering new-build homes across the Midlands. Known for its practical, hands-on approach and strong commitment to customer care, this is a business that takes pride in supporting homeowners long after they move into their new homes.
As the Multi Trade Operative, you will be responsible for:
- Attending occupied new-build homes to carry out customer care and remedial works
- Diagnosing faults and identifying appropriate repair solutions
- Carpentry and joinery repairs, including doors, kitchens, and general woodwork
- Basic decorating and painting
- General property maintenance and finishing works
- Multi-trade repairs across a variety of customer issues
- Travelling between multiple live developments within the region
- Occasionally assisting with snagging works on new-build properties
- Delivering excellent customer service while working in occupied homes
The successful Multi Trade Operative will:
- Have proven experience in a maintenance, customer care, or multi-trade role
- Ideally have previous experience within new-build housing
- Possess strong carpentry/joinery skills
- Be comfortable carrying out a variety of maintenance and repair tasks
- Have excellent customer service and communication skills
- Be able to diagnose issues and solve problems independently
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Have their own tools
- Be able to provide suitable work references
In return, the Multi Trade Operative will receive:
- £38,000 per annum
- Company van provided, including home-to-work use
- Business fuel card
- 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- Additional Christmas shutdown period
- No weekend working
- No call-out rota
