Are you an experienced Housing Officer looking for your next challenge? We\’re working with a housing organisation in the East Midlands who are seeking a dedicated Housing Officer to join their team. Housing Officer – 12-Month FTC Location: Leicester Salary: £31,000 – £33,000 Contract: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract (with the potential to go permanent) Hours: 37 hours per week (3 days office-based, 2 days working from home) Key Responsibilities as a Housing Officer: Manage a dispersed patch of properties across Leicester and Nottingham Carry out estate inspections and property viewings Handle low to high levels of anti-social behaviour (ASB) Conduct tenancy sign-ups and assist with housing benefit queriesAbout You: Proven experience working as a Housing Officer within social housing Excellent communication and negotiation skills to handle sensitive tenant situations Ability to manage a busy caseload, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines Knowledge of housing management systems and software is desirableBenefits of the Housing Officer Role: Opportunity to secure a permanent position after the 12-month contract Work within a supportive and professional environment, gaining valuable experienceInterested?
