We're working with a large housing association in the Birmingham area that's implementing a new Allocations Policy and urgently seeking experienced Housing Allocations Officers to support a key project.

Birmingham (South) - 1 day WFH

£19 - £21 per hour (umbrella)

Full-time, 37 hours per week

Initial 12-week contract - potential for extension

Key responsibilities of a Housing Allocations Officer:

  • Contacting customers affected by changes to the allocations policy
  • Updating and processing applications as a Housing Allocations Officer using Abritas
  • Cleansing and maintaining the housing register
  • Responding to Part 6 housing enquiries
  • Working in line with allocations policies and procedures

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience working as a Housing Allocations Officer
  • Experience using the Abritas Allocations System
  • Strong understanding of housing policies and allocations processes
  • Excellent IT skills and attention to detail
  • Confident communicator, able to handle complex conversations

The Offer:

  • £19 - £21 per hour (umbrella)
  • 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Hybrid: 4 days office-based (South Birmingham), 1 day WFH
  • 12-week initial contract with potential for extension
