We're working with a large housing association in the Birmingham area that's implementing a new Allocations Policy and urgently seeking experienced Housing Allocations Officers to support a key project.
Birmingham (South) - 1 day WFH
£19 - £21 per hour (umbrella)
Full-time, 37 hours per week
Initial 12-week contract - potential for extension
Key responsibilities of a Housing Allocations Officer:
- Contacting customers affected by changes to the allocations policy
- Updating and processing applications as a Housing Allocations Officer using Abritas
- Cleansing and maintaining the housing register
- Responding to Part 6 housing enquiries
- Working in line with allocations policies and procedures
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience working as a Housing Allocations Officer
- Experience using the Abritas Allocations System
- Strong understanding of housing policies and allocations processes
- Excellent IT skills and attention to detail
- Confident communicator, able to handle complex conversations
The Offer:
- £19 - £21 per hour (umbrella)
- 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
