We are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients, a well-established organisation within the social housing sector, for an experienced Homeownership Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a housing professional with strong experience across homeownership, leasehold and estate/scheme management. Key Responsibilities of a Homeownership Officer: Manage a portfolio of leasehold and homeownership properties, providing a high-quality and customer-focused service. Ensure compliance with leasehold legislation, policies and procedures, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records. Provide advice and support to homeowners and leaseholders, dealing with enquiries, complaints and complex cases. Manage service charges, major works and other homeownership-related charges. Carry out routine visits to homeownership schemes and estates, working closely with Estates Services to assess environmental standards, identify and resolve communal maintenance issues and improve shared spaces. Liaise with internal teams, contractors, solicitors and other stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery. Produce and monitor performance information, including KPIs, trends and exception reports, identifying risks and opportunities for service improvement.
