We are recruiting for an experienced Fire Safety Manager to join a leading Social Housing provider based in Kingston upon Thames supporting property services across the local region on a one year fixed term contract. Carry out fire safety inspections, surveys and audits, ensuring risks are identified and appropriately managed. Work closely with Property Managers to ensure Fire Risk Assessment recommendations and remedial actions are completed. Prepare specifications, monitor works on site and undertake quality assurance inspections. Manage contracts, variations and Contract Instructions where required. Ensure all fire safety, building safety, statutory and regulatory obligations are identified and progressed. Keep up to date with changes to fire safety legislation, guidance and regulatory requirements. The successful Fire Safety Manager will have: Strong knowledge and experience of Fire Risk Assessments and fire safety compliance. Experience managing fire safety contractors and external consultants. Strong understanding of fire safety legislation and regulations. Experience delivering fire safety remedial, major works or compliance programmes. A recognised Fire Safety qualification or Building safety qualification Strong project, contract and budget management skills. Experience working within a residential or social housing environment.
