We are recruiting for a Stock Condition Surveyor for a leading Social Housing provider based in the South West, supporting property services across the local region on a permanent basis. As a Stock Condition Surveyor, you will be responsible for delivering a range of surveying services across housing stock, ensuring properties are maintained to a high standard, compliant with regulations, and fit for purpose. This is a great opportunity to join a busy, customer-focused organisation and make an immediate impact.

What's on offer:

  • Rate: £40,000-£45,000
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Working pattern: 37 hours
  • Hybrid working: Home and site working

This role requires travel across the South West to areas including Gloucester and Cheltenham.

About the Company

Our client is a well-established Social Housing group managing a large portfolio of residential properties across the South West and the surrounding areas. They are committed to providing safe, high-quality homes and delivering excellent services to their tenants and communities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertake stock condition surveys on a range of residential properties
  • Undertake EPC surveys
  • Mentor a junior stock condition surveyor and go over their data once a month
  • Communicate with administrator and investment manager

The successful Stock Condition Surveyor will have:

  • HNC/HND in Building Studies or happy to work towards it
  • DEA Qualification or happy to work towards it
  • Social housing experience
  • NEBOSH/IOSH or happy to work towards it
