We are actively looking for an Electrical Inspector to join a housing association in the Burton area on a contract basis. In return, you will receive flexible working, business mileage, and additional benefits.

As the Electrical Inspector, you will be:

  • Assisting with the preparation and delivery of Planned and Programmed installation and maintenance contracts in regard to EICRs and electrical rewires, ensuring that compliance, efficiency, and high standards are maintained.
  • Monitoring electrical contractor/contract performance, ensuring programmes are adhered to and targets are met.
  • Reviewing Electrical Certification (DEICR, DEIC) in conjunction with validation of contractors' claims for payment.
  • Undertaking site inspections of works in progress, giving advice and assistance to customers ensuring a degree of tenant satisfaction with the service provided.

Qualifications and experience required for this Electrical Inspector role:

  • Experience working within a social housing setting in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of EICR reporting and all electrical servicing and surveying.
  • SSSTS (or SMSTS), 2391 Testing and Inspection, Health and Safety Awareness.
