We are currently recruiting for an experienced Groundworker to join a well-established contractor carrying out repairs and maintenance works to social housing domestic properties across Daventry. This is an ongoing temporary role offering regular work with the opportunity to join a busy team delivering high-quality external groundworks and property maintenance projects. The role involves working on occupied and void social housing properties across Daventry, carrying out a variety of external groundworks to improve and maintain domestic properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out slabbing, paving, and pathway repairs
- Complete bricklaying repairs including walls, steps, and boundary works
- Install and repair kerbing
- Undertake drainage repairs and install new drainage where required
- Carry out general groundworks and site preparation
- Excavate and reinstate areas using hand tools and small plant
- Complete concrete repairs and associated groundwork tasks
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard within occupied domestic properties
- Work safely and effectively while maintaining a clean and tidy work area
- Liaise professionally with tenants and site management throughout the works
Requirements:
- To have your own van
- To have your own tools
- Previous experience working as a Groundworker
- Experience in slabbing, bricklaying, kerbing, drainage, and general groundworks
- Experience working within social housing or domestic properties is desirable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
