We are looking for a Commercial Gas Engineer, to work for a well-established property maintenance contractor, covering Newport and the surrounding areas. This really is a fantastic opportunity to work for a forward thinking organisation that offers unmatched training programmes and great financial incentives.
This position has working hours of Monday to Friday, 8:00am till 4:30pm, where a van and fuel card will be supplied from the first day.
The successful Commercial Gas Engineer will receive:
- 36,500 basic salary (Lots of different bonus & financial reward schemes)
- Company van and fuel card provided
- Personal use of the company van is permitted
- Like for like power tool replacement (If your power tool breaks on a job)
- Removed material sharing scheme
- Highest quality of specialist tools provided when required
- Opportunity to enhance your earnings with the call out rota
- Regular overtime and weekend work is always available
The Commercial Gas Engineer will be expected to:
- Perform work in compliance with industry standards and Approved Codes of Practice.
- Carry out planned maintenance and reactive repairs within set timescales.
- Install new heating systems and improvements.
- Ensure timely completion of all work and report any exceptions.
- Work in various sectors, including schools, residential, and commercial properties.
The Commercial Gas Engineer will need:
- Approved City and Guilds/CITB/ACS qualifications (Commercial preferred but experienced Domestic qualified Engineers may also be considered).
- Commercial Gas/Safety qualifications.
- Unvented hot water experience.
