As a DFG Surveyor, you will play a key role in assessing properties, managing Disabled Facilities Grant applications, and ensuring vulnerable residents can remain safe and independent in their homes. DFG Surveyor key responsibilities include:
- Managing Disabled Facilities Grant cases from referral through to completion
- Carrying out property inspections and technical assessments
- Overseeing contractors and ensuring works are completed to a high standard
- Ensuring compliance with relevant housing legislation, health and safety standards, and organisational procedures
- Supporting service improvement and maintaining accurate project records
The successful DFG Surveyor will have:
- Experience delivering Disabled Facilities Grant or housing adaptation projects
- Strong knowledge of housing construction, repairs, and building regulations
- A relevant surveying, construction, or technical qualification
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
