You'll be joining an experienced organisation committed to supporting people affected by homelessness, mental ill health and substance misuse. With responsibility for over 400 supported accommodation units across Birmingham, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manager looking to lead a large operational service and develop a high-performing team.
Responsibilities
- Managing the day-to-day delivery of a large supported accommodation service
- Leading, coaching and developing a team of approximately 14–15 staff
- Overseeing around 400 supported accommodation units across multiple buildings
- Ensuring high standards of safeguarding, compliance and service delivery
- Working closely with local authorities and external partner organisations
- Supporting recruitment, performance management and continuous service improvement
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing supported housing or homelessness services
- Experience leading multi-site operational teams
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and supporting people with complex needs
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities within a fast-paced environment
