Join a leading social housing contractor in a hands-on role helping to prepare homes for new tenants across South Birmingham. This Cleaner position offers the opportunity to work on a major Birmingham City Council contract, ensuring properties are clean, safe, and ready for residents to move into. This is a 4-week temporary contract, ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail, and enjoys working independently.
You will be working across a variety of residential properties including houses, flats, and bungalows, carrying out thorough cleans following refurbishment works. As a Cleaner, you will be:
- Carrying out deep cleans of residential properties following refurbishment works
- Cleaning kitchens, worktops, bathrooms, toilets, and internal living spaces
- Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and preparing properties to a high standard
- Cleaning internal windows and ensuring all areas are move-in ready
- Travelling between approximately two properties per day across South Birmingham
- Maintaining health and safety standards whilst working on-site

Key requirements for this Cleaner role:
- Full UK Driving Licence (ideally with no points or bans)
- Access to your own vehicle (please advise if a company van would be required)
- DBS clearance preferred, although not essential as a DBS application can be processed at offer stage
- Availability to start immediately
The role is offering the following benefits:

This role is offering an umbrella rate of £13.00 - £14.00 per hour. Travel & Location: This role covers the South Birmingham region, with travel between properties required throughout the working day. Due to the nature of the role, a driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
