We are working with a well-established social housing provider in South Wales who are looking to appoint a Damp & Mould / Disrepair Surveyor to join their team. This permanent position offers hybrid working, combining home-based work with site visits across the local area, supporting the investigation and resolution of damp, mould, and property condition concerns.

This Damp & Mould / Disrepair Surveyor role is offering:

  • Salary in the region of £42,000-£47,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Permanent contract working 37 hours per week.
  • Hybrid working with flexibility across office and site.

Key duties of the successful Damp & Mould / Disrepair Surveyor:

  • Investigating reports of damp, mould and condensation within occupied homes.
  • Undertaking disrepair inspections and preparing clear schedules of remedial works.
  • Identifying root causes and specifying appropriate long-term solutions.
  • Ensuring works comply with housing standards, HHSRS and relevant legislation.
  • Working closely with contractors to monitor quality and progress of remedial works.
