This is an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Surveyor with a strong background in damp and mould to join a housing association operating across Buckinghamshire. The role focuses on inspections, technical reporting, and supporting the delivery of high-quality repairs and maintenance services. This role is a Fixed Term Contract for 12 months.
You will be working within an established property services team, delivering surveying support across responsive repairs, voids, and cyclical works. The position is primarily office based, with site visits required and business mileage provided.
In this role, the maintenance surveyor will:
- Carry out pre- and post-inspections across voids, responsive repairs, and cyclical maintenance works
- Undertake diagnostic inspections, surveys, and technical reporting in line with organisational procedures
- Provide clear and accurate technical advice following thorough inspections and post-works checks
- Support the delivery of an effective and efficient repairs and maintenance service at an operational level
- Manage and support disrepair works, including major or complex repairs when required
- Carry out damp and mould inspections, identifying causes and recommending remedial solutions
- Liaise with contractors, residents, and internal teams to ensure works are completed to standard

- Good knowledge of the social housing sector and relevant regulations
- Proven experience dealing with damp and mould (highly desirable)
