We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire Stopper to join our growing team, working on ongoing projects across Birmingham and the surrounding areas.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in passive fire protection/fire stopping
  • Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card
  • NVQ Level 2
  • Own transport/van
  • Own tools
  • Ability to work independently and maintain a high standard of workmanship

Experience Required

  • Applicants must have proven experience carrying out all aspects of passive fire protection, including:
    • Installing fire batt, fire mastic, fire collars, and fire wraps
    • Sealing penetrations around pipes, cables, and ductwork
    • Carrying out remedial fire-stopping works
    • Maintaining fire compartmentation
    • Working in occupied and void properties
    • Completing installation records and photographic evidence
    • Working to current fire safety regulations and manufacturers' specifications
    • Delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service

Experience working within social housing, commercial, healthcare, education, or occupied buildings is highly desirable.
