You will be joining a small, independently run temporary accommodation service in Birmingham that works closely with the local authority to provide short-term housing for families while permanent accommodation is arranged. This role is offering the following benefits:

  • Permanent contract
  • Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm
  • Salary circa £28,000 per annum (Negotiable depending on experience)

In this position, you will be:

  • Managing front desk operations and completing handovers with night staff
  • Maintaining building security and carrying out regular welfare and building checks
  • Conducting room inspections and ensuring residents adhere to property rules
  • Handling administration including emails, bookings, check-ins and check-outs
  • Liaising with the local authority regarding room availability and resident information
  • Responding to resident enquiries and providing light housing-related guidance where appropriate
  • Working independently and proactively managing tasks throughout the day
