As a Multi-Trade Engineer, you will be:
- Completing day-to-day repairs in tenants' homes across Watford and the surrounding area.
- Receiving work orders and appointment times through a PDA.
- Fault finding and accurately diagnosing repair requirements.
- Identifying efficient and cost-effective solutions to problems.
- Completing repairs to a workmanlike standard while minimising inconvenience to customers.
- Working with the Planning Team to organise jobs and maximise your working time.
- Arranging and collecting materials where required.
- Working safely in customers' homes and public areas in line with relevant policies and procedures.
- Working with minimum supervision and managing your own workload.
- Using an electronic PDA to receive, update and record completed work.
- Providing out-of-hours support on a rotational basis.
- Undertaking other reasonable duties and projects as required by your line manager.
