We are currently recruiting for an experienced Kitchen Fitter to join a well-established contractor carrying out repairs and maintenance works to social housing domestic properties across Daventry. This role is paying £22 per hour. This is an ongoing temporary role offering regular work with the opportunity to join a busy team delivering high-quality kitchen fitting, repairs and property maintenance projects.
The role involves working on occupied and void social housing properties across Daventry, carrying out a variety of kitchen fitting, installation, repair and finishing works to maintain and improve domestic properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out full and partial kitchen installations within social housing properties
- Remove and replace kitchen units, worktops, doors, drawers and associated fittings
- Install kitchen cabinets and units accurately and to a high standard
- Fit worktops, plinths, end panels, upstands and other kitchen components
- Carry out adjustments and repairs to existing kitchen units and fittings
- Undertake minor carpentry and joinery works associated with kitchen installations
- Complete kitchen repairs following general maintenance works
- Prepare areas for installation and ensure all work is completed to a high standard
- Work within occupied and void domestic properties while maintaining a clean and tidy working environment
- Liaise professionally with tenants and site management throughout the works
- Complete work in line with health and safety regulations and company standards
Requirements:
- To have your own van
- To have your own tools
- Previous experience working as a Kitchen Fitter
- Experience fitting kitchens within domestic properties
- Experience installing kitchen units, worktops and associated components
- Ability to carry out kitchen repairs and adjustments
- Experience working within social housing or domestic properties is desirable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
