What You’ll Do:
- Support the quotation process: gather inputs, complete compliance checklists, format proposals, and track deadlines.
- Assist with pricing: build quote packs, apply catalogue pricing methodologies, and sanity‑check with teams.
- Coordinate activity across Sales and Technical teams, tracking progress and reporting risks.
- Manage contract admin: draft quotation documents, chase approvals, and maintain accurate records.
- Maintain pipeline hygiene: update CRM stages, prepare weekly reports, and flag slippage early.
- Capture market and competitor insights to inform pricing decisions.
- Support digitisation initiatives as part of a wider Commercial Transformation program.
What Success Looks Like:
- Timely, compliant proposals delivered on template.
- Accurate margin delivery with minimal erosion.
- Clean documentation and accurate pipeline reporting.
- Faster approvals and fewer contract exceptions.
What You’ll Bring:
- 2–4+ years in commercial, bids, pricing, contracts, or similar roles.
- Degree or equivalent experience (business, engineering, law, or related field).
- Strong numeracy and confidence with Excel (lookups, pivots) and CRM systems.
- Clear, concise writing; ability to translate technical info into commercial terms.
- Organised, detail‑oriented, and calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Basic understanding of T&Cs, with the confidence to escape where necessary.
- Curiosity, ethical mindset, and ownership of your work.
- Commercial acumen, with understanding of revenue, margin, and unit economics.
