We’re looking for an experienced Supplier Quality Management Engineer to join our team and help drive supplier performance, reliability, and continuous improvement.
In this highly impactful role, you’ll ensure that the materials and components our business depends on — from raw materials to complex assemblies — meet or exceed the highest engineering and quality standards. You’ll be a key figure in shaping the reliability of our supplier network and supporting the delivery of world-class products to our customers.
This is a 12 month contract position paying £250 a day (inside IR35).
What You’ll Do:
- As a recognised subject matter expert, you will lead and support key activities to ensure supplier-provided raw materials, manufactured components, and packaging materials meet or exceed engineering and quality standards.
- Verifying & Validating that suppliers and subcontractors fully understand and implement required engineering, manufacturing, and quality specifications.
- Monitoring Quality Control Systems at supplier facilities to ensure compliance and proactive issue identification.
- Driving Continuous Improvement, helping suppliers enhance quality, reliability, and productivity through robust improvement programs.
- Investigating & Resolving Quality Issues, performing root cause analysis, and managing corrective actions to reduce and eliminate defects.
What You Bring:
- Advanced education or significant experience in Supplier Quality, Commodity Management, or a related engineering discipline.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and drive results with minimal oversight.
- Experience mentoring and guiding junior professionals in a collaborative environment.
- Strong analytical skills and a solutions-driven mindset.
