I’m currently working with an Automotive Giant and they are on a lookout for a Strategic Buyer , who will play a pivotal role in sourcing and supplier strategies that directly impact the launch of their newest vehicles. This is your opportunity to be at the forefront of innovation, ensuring the successful delivery of seating commodities for their latest vehicle programs. What You’ll Do Lead global commodity sourcing and oversee the sourcing process through vehicle launch. Develop and implement market and sourcing strategies that align with the business vision. Foster strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive strategic and program alignment. Manage Supplier Business Reviews to ensure seamless deployment of Global Commodity and Supply Base Market strategies across the organisation. Collaborate with Regional Delivery teams and specialists to maximize value creation and delivery. . What We’re Looking For Direct purchasing experience, automotive industry exposure, and knowledge in engineering or international business. CIPS qualification is desirable but not essential.
