Face-to-Face Systems Trainer
12-Month Contract | £300 per day | Inside IR35
Are you an experienced trainer who enjoys being in the classroom, engaging with people and helping them confidently adopt new systems and processes?
We're supporting a major automotive organisation through a large-scale manufacturing transformation and are looking for an experienced Face-to-Face Systems Trainer to help prepare and train employees as new technology and ways of working are introduced.
This is a hands-on training role. A significant part of your time will be spent delivering classroom-based and face-to-face training to end users, alongside preparing the learning materials and training plans needed to make those sessions successful.
What you'll be doing
- Deliver engaging face-to-face classroom training to employees across the business
- Facilitate practical system and process training sessions for different user groups
- Create and adapt training materials, presentations, user guides and exercises
- Support Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to understand what different audiences need to learn
- Help develop training plans, schedules and learning pathways
- Work with SMEs and project teams to understand new systems and translate them into straightforward training
- Support employees through the transition to new technology and processes
- Gather feedback from training sessions and continuously improve the learning materials
- Support e-learning content where required as part of a blended learning approach
What we're looking for
We're particularly interested in people who have experience standing in front of a room and delivering systems or process training to end users.
You could come from automotive, manufacturing, engineering, technology or another large operational environment.
Ideally, you'll have experience in:
- Face-to-face/classroom training delivery
- Systems, software or process training
- Creating your own training and learning materials
- Training Needs Analysis (TNA)
- Training planning and preparation
- Facilitating sessions with different types of users
- Supporting major system, process or business change
Experience with SAP would be beneficial, particularly SAP PM, but it is not essential.
Exposure to e-learning tools such as Articulate 360, Rise or SAP Enable Now would also be useful, but we're primarily interested in your ability to create practical learning and confidently deliver it face-to-face.
If you're a hands-on trainer who enjoys working directly with users and seeing people develop their confidence with new systems and processes, we'd like to hear from you.
