What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Own and manage all technical aspects of our Shopify eCommerce stores
  • Build, extend, and maintain custom Shopify themes and apps
  • Integrate and optimize third-party apps like Recharge, including using their APIs and webhooks

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define business goals and translate them into effective technical solutions
  • Audit, maintain, and continuously improve our existing Shopify infrastructure
  • Participate in product planning and suggest areas for improvement and innovation
  • Use Jira and Confluence to manage work and document solutions

  • Ability to set up and manage A/B and multivariate testing
  • Experience documenting business requirements and assessing feasibility
  • Comfortable using version control (e.g. Git) and applying it to Shopify theme development

Nice to Have:

  • Experience or interest in Python (our internal scripting language of choice)
  • Familiarity with PHP, especially for supporting WordPress integrations
  • Previous experience working in cross-functional teams with marketers, designers, and product managers
