A leading telecoms and business solutions provider is seeking a UK Managing Director to lead and scale its largest UK consumer sales operation during a major period of growth and investment.

This is not a traditional corporate MD role. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for someone who has built their career within telecoms, contact centres, customer acquisition or high-volume sales environments, and understands what it takes to scale people, process and commercial performance simultaneously.

The operation today:

  • £15m revenue business
  • £3m profit
  • 70+ people across the operation
  • Established call centre and unified communications platform
  • Largest UK growth area within the wider group

The next stage is where things become interesting. Following a complete redesign of the PPC and digital acquisition strategy, the business has gone from generating virtually no inbound activity to 400 warm leads per month on a marketing spend of approximately £75k per month. The ambition now is to increase investment towards £500k per month, creating an opportunity to scale lead generation towards 4,000+ warm leads per month.

The challenge is not simply generating more demand. The challenge is building the infrastructure, leadership capability and operating model required to support it.

The Opportunity:

Reporting directly to the CEO and operating alongside the wider executive leadership team, the UK Managing Director will take ownership of the entire UK consumer operation, including:

  • Call Centre Operations
  • Direct Sales Performance
  • Marketing & Digital Marketing
  • PPC & Customer Acquisition
  • Leadership Team Development
  • Operational Performance & Reporting
  • Growth Strategy & Scale Planning

This role combines commercial leadership, operational oversight and people leadership. The successful individual will be responsible for building the systems, structure and leadership capability required to support significant growth over the next 18–36 months.

What They're Looking For:

This role will suit someone who has:

  • Led high-volume contact centre, telesales or customer acquisition operations
  • Owned full P&L responsibility
  • Scaled teams and leadership structures through periods of rapid growth
  • Experience across inbound and outbound sales channels
  • Strong operational discipline and KPI management
  • Built performance cultures while maintaining engagement and morale
  • Experience within telecoms, business solutions, customer acquisition, BPO or similar environments

Most importantly, this person will be a visible and highly credible leader who can build trust, create accountability and guide a business through significant growth and change. They will be comfortable operating at both strategic and operational level, building strong leadership teams while creating the structure and cadence needed to scale effectively.

Why Join?

This division represents the organisation’s single largest growth area over the next three years. Alongside a highly competitive package, the opportunity includes meaningful equity participation with projected upside of £1m+. There is also genuine long-term opportunity for broader leadership responsibility and progression into a wider CEO-style remit across additional business functions. For someone who enjoys pace, growth and building something substantial, this is an opportunity to shape a business at one of the most important stages in its journey.
