My client is looking for an Internal Change Communications Officer to join their Business Change & Communications team, supporting the successful rollout of new manufacturing systems across the business.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a large-scale transformation programme, helping employees understand, engage with and adopt new ways of working.
You'll work closely with Change Managers, Technical Trainers, SMEs and business stakeholders to create engaging communication campaigns, support business readiness and drive user adoption across multiple sites.
This role would suit someone with a background in Internal Communications, Employee Engagement or Change Communications who enjoys creating impactful communications and building strong relationships across a business.
This is an initial 12-month contract paying £270 per day (Inside IR35), with strong potential for extension.
The role is Midlands-based with regular travel between manufacturing sites and occasional travel to the Halewood facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver communication and engagement plans that support business change and system deployments.
- Create clear, engaging communications that explain process and system changes to a variety of audiences.
- Develop role-specific 'What's In It For Me?' (WIIFM) campaigns to encourage user adoption.
- Build and maintain stakeholder engagement plans, audience analysis and stakeholder matrices.
- Support Business Change Impact Assessments by working with SMEs and business stakeholders to understand the impact of change.
- Facilitate workshops, process walk-throughs and engagement sessions to prepare end users for upcoming changes.
- Coordinate Early Adopter and Super User networks to champion new ways of working.
- Organise engagement events, roadshows and system showcases across manufacturing sites.
- Work closely with Technical Trainers to ensure communications align with training activities and business readiness plans.
- Measure engagement and adoption, producing reports to monitor communication effectiveness and business readiness.
- Build strong relationships across business, project and technology teams to ensure consistent messaging throughout the programme.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in Internal Communications, Employee Engagement, Change Communications or Business Change.
- Previous experience supporting organisational change or system implementation projects.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to translate complex information into engaging content.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Experience creating communication strategies across multiple channels, including digital communications, workshops and face-to-face engagement.
- Confident facilitating workshops, presentations and engagement sessions.
- Knowledge of change management principles or methodologies such as ADKAR, Prosci or similar would be highly beneficial.
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering or large corporate environments would be advantageous but isn't essential.
