A leading professional services organisation is looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to play a key role in building secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions. This is a hands-on individual contributor role, ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of engineering, security, and automation, and enjoys embedding best-practice DevSecOps ways of working across teams.

The DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating secure cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines, while championing modern DevSecOps practices across engineering and product teams.

Key focus areas include:
  • Building and maintaining secure CI/CD pipelines
  • Developing infrastructure-as-code for consistent and compliant cloud environments
  • Embedding security automation throughout the delivery lifecycle
  • Improving reliability, observability, resilience, and cost efficiency
  • Supporting and upskilling teams in DevOps and security best practices
Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect, implement, and operate CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments
  • Design and manage infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Bicep / Terraform)
  • Introduce and manage security tooling such as vulnerability scanning, SCA, and SIEM integrations
  • Implement strong identity, access, and secrets management aligned to zero-trust principles
  • Embed threat modelling, secure design, and continuous security testing into delivery workflows
  • Improve observability through logs, metrics, alerts, and dashboards
  • Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning
  • Act as a subject matter expert for DevSecOps tooling, practices, and governance
